Live translation liora Flow Events
No one misses a word.
Liora translates what's being said in a room as it happens and sends it to each attendee's phone, in their own language. No receivers, no handing out devices, nothing to install in the room.
See how it works Talk to usSimultaneous interpretation has always been expensive and cumbersome.
A booth, one interpreter per language, a set of receivers that have to be handed out, collected, charged and replaced. That's why it's only used at big events, and everywhere else it's assumed that part of the audience will only half follow along.
Liora gets rid of the booth and the receivers. The phone every attendee already carries becomes the receiver, and the system generates the translation on the spot.
Three steps, and none of them technical.
- 1
Someone speaks
The speaker uses the usual microphone, or an authorized phone. Nothing about what they already do changes.
- 2
The system translates
Speech is transcribed and translated on the fly. Within seconds it's available in every language enabled for that event.
- 3
Everyone in their own language
Attendees open the app, choose a language and follow the event. They can read the subtitles or listen to the translation through their headphones.
Not every event uses all fifteen. Each organization chooses the ones it needs based on who will attend, and can change them from one event to the next. Of the active languages, some can be listened to and others can only be read.
When the meeting isn't for everyone.
A room can be marked as restricted. In that case, a QR code is generated when the meeting starts, shown in the room itself, and only those who scan it can join.
The code is created with the meeting and stops working when it ends. No passwords going around on WhatsApp, no posters still valid next month. If someone gets in who shouldn't, the person in charge generates a new code and everyone else scans again.
